AGRD Partners has appointed its current working Chair, Maria-Pia Hope, as the company’s Group Chief Executive Officer, with Helene Willberg taking over as Chair of the Board.

The appointments mark the next step in AGRD Partners’ mission to bring the business of law into the future. With a new CEO and Chair in place, AGRD Partners is establishing a strong central team to lead international expansion and support collaboration across its partner firms. A CFO and a General Counsel are already in place, with more central leadership appointments to come. 

Maria-Pia Hope to lead AGRD’s expansion as new CEO

Maria-Pia Hope, who served as Managing Partner at leading Swedish law firm Vinge for twelve years, is one of the Nordic region’s most respected business law leaders. As working Chair, she has spearheaded AGRD Partners’ successful launch in the Swedish market. As CEO, she will now drive the group’s continued growth and international expansion on a full-time basis.

Helene Willberg takes over as Chair of the Board

Helene Willberg brings extensive leadership experience, having served as CEO of KPMG Sweden and as a member of its International Board. She also chairs Accru Partners, an alliance of independent firms working within audit, accounting, tax and advisory services that has quickly become a leading Nordic challenger in its field.
